Tadpoles!

Every year we see tadpoles in a horse pasture puddle down the street....

I think those "bubbles" might be tadpole eggs.

The girls are intrigued....and begging to take them home.
(This has been attempted before!)

Hundreds of them!

Then this guy shows up to see what we are doing.
Hi Spots (his kid-assigned name)!

Notice Spots helps himself to a nice cool drink from the puddle.
...possibly slurping up some tadpoles!
(Imagine lots of drama from the girls!)
