The Domestic Life

Surprisingly, since deciding to stay home with my girls, I've been loving my new title as mom. I thought I would miss working (in a paying job!), but so far I have no yearning to go anywhere. So, in line with my newfound appreciation for the domestic life, I have some other new obsessions. One being my clothesline in the backyard. I feel so old-fashioned hanging my clothes to out to dry, but something about it makes it feel more clean and environmentally friendly. I'm also trying to eat/grow/buy more local produce. I was reading this book called Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver that has really changed my way of thinking about what we eat. So, this summer I'm trying to be more in tune with what we eat.

I guess for now I'm really enjoying being a domestic diva.

Seriously, you are the next Martha Stewart! I am not even joking. I started to do so that I can figure out how the heck to keep my house decent! Kudos to you!
