Quite possibly the grossest preschool project

Today I picked Liddy up from summer camp. She made a fish picture, like a fish imprint. One of the parents asked the teacher how they did it. She actually bought dead fish from the store, had the kids paint them and then imprint them on the paper. She said the kids enjoyed painting the fish which I can see as fun from a 4 year's standpoint. But, dead fish? The thought of my daughter handling it and flopping it on paper makes me want to gag. What is that teacher thinking? Good thing it's not her usual preschool or else I'd reconsider.
